Vindolanda...

Vindolanda

No this is not a special curry that you'd get from the Indian down the road; this colour is actually inspired by the Roman Auxiliary fort just south of Hadrians Wall; under Roman occupation from 85 AD to 370 AD. SO who knows maybe there's a few Romans out there!

Ironically this is a very warm neutral; very unlike the Romans themselves! A colour that will give a calm, tranquil and comfortable feel to a room. On it's own will make an impact but if you're a bit spicy like a Vindaloo (see what I did there?) I'd pair this with a bold feature wall, potentially with our next colour! I'll give you a hint it's a very common ice cream topping!

Be bold like a Roman and calm like this Vindolanda, but remember to buy quality; cos if you buy cheap you paint twice!
