Every Colour Has a Story..
Seaham Sea Glass...

Seaham Sea Glass Seaham beach is the inspiration behind this colour; the best (in many people's opinion) sea glass beach in the world! This was once a site of a Victorian glass factory; and any unwanted glass chippings were often thrown into the sea. All of these were then smoothed down through the rough action of the waters, producing the beautiful gemlike pebbles that you can see here. This colour is visually calming but also a beautiful colour that will change from a green to a blue depending on the light shining on the walls, however it will always look...
Big River...

Big River If this colour looks familiar it's because it features on our beautiful brochure as the backdrop to our whole range. Inspired not by what you think; the Tyne River, but actually by a song that was in itself inspired by the Tyne river! Inspiration-ception! Jimmy Nail wrote the song Big River inspired by this huge river that ran through his hometown of Newcastle. The actual river itself is 73 miles long and believed to be approximately 5.5 thousand years old! Mental! This colour is a bold dramatic dark blue that makes a fantastic backdrop; as we know ourselves!...
Town Moor...

Town Moor Town moor is a large area of common land in Newcastle, it's actually even bigger than central park in New York! Take that! An area spanning 1000 acres of land, Newcastle's town moor is home to festivals, runners and even some very hungry cattle! This beautiful large piece of land is bigger than Hyde park and Hampstead heath put together! This colour was inspired by this amazing area of land that spans such a large busy city! A sense of calm in the storm that is Newcastle! This colour really emanates calm; it's soft and gentle that would...
Astronomers Sky...

Astronomers Sky Now this colour is quite close to one of our previous employees Sarah, this colour is inspired by the Kielder Observatory in Northumberland. The observatory itself is the largest Dark Sky Park (area of protected night sky) in Europe and is the fourth largest protected Dark Sky reserve in the world! Not only that but it is Sarah's favourite place, and even the place where her husband proposed!! How cute is that? This colour is a luxurious shade that creates a beautiful backdrop changing depending on the light! This is a truly magical colour that oozes magnificence and...
Budle Bay...

Budle Bay This colour was inspired by the beautiful Budle Bay in Northumberland; once a very thriving industrial port in the times of Henry III has now become part of the Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve and it is not very hard to see why. This beautiful coastline looks almost like you're on holiday in a tropical country but you're actually just up North, the weather may be not quite the same but the crystal blue waters are! This colour is a clean, serene blue that will create a calm oasis that will remind you of a sandy Hawaii or better...
